Resume tailoring

Tailor your resume to any job description in about a minute

Upload your resume once. For every role after that, Ace reads the posting, works out what it is really asking for, and rewrites your resume to lead with the parts of your experience that answer it — in the posting’s own language.

What you’d ask Ace

“Tailor my resume for the Cardhouse role.”

How it works

  1. 1

    Upload your resume once

Upload a PDF, or import your LinkedIn data export. Ace reads it into a structured profile — roles, bullets, skills, education — that every tailored version starts from.

  2. 2

    Pick a posting

One Ace found for you, or any job you paste in by URL. Ace reads the whole description, not just the title.

  3. 3

    Get a tailored version

Summary rewritten for the role, the most relevant bullets moved up, the posting’s terms used where they are true of you. Ready as a PDF in about a minute.

What tailoring actually changes

Tailoring is not keyword stuffing. Recruiters skim for the handful of things the role needs, and applicant tracking systems rank on the language the posting used. A tailored resume puts the evidence for those things where both will find it first.

Ace rewrites your summary for the specific role, reorders and rephrases bullets so the most relevant work leads, and uses the posting’s own terms wherever they honestly describe what you did. It does not invent experience you do not have.

You stay in control of every line

The tailored resume opens as a document, not a form. Click any line to edit it where it sits. If you disagree with one bullet, ask Ace to rewrite just that one. Every change updates the PDF.

Each round is saved as a version, so you can go back to any earlier one — and you can switch between the editor, the PDF, or both side by side, depending on whether you are writing or reviewing.

Built to be read by software and by people

The PDF is a clean single-column layout generated from structured data — no tables, text boxes or columns for an applicant tracking system to misread. Pick a template if you want a different look; the structure underneath stays parser-safe.

Common questions

How do I tailor my resume to a job description?

Match your summary to the role, lead with the experience the posting asks for, and use its terms where they truthfully describe your work. In AceJobs you pick a posting and Ace does that rewrite for you, then you edit anything you want by clicking the line.

Will Ace make things up to fit the job?

No. Ace works from your own profile and resume. It reorders, rephrases and emphasises what you have done; it does not add roles, skills or results you did not give it.

How many resumes can I tailor for free?

A tailored resume costs 2 credits. The free tier starts with 100 credits and adds 25 every week, with no time limit. Pro is €14/month for 600 credits if you are applying at volume.

Can I tailor a resume for a job I found somewhere else?

Yes. Paste the posting’s URL and Ace reads it the same way it reads the roles it finds itself.
